ABOUT THE DANCE TO FITNESS™ PROGRAM

Dance to Fitness™ is a dance fitness program which combines faith based activities with high energy dance to Christian music from around the world to create a workout that would really move you - spirit, soul and body in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

The workout features scriptural declarations to engage the mind and spirit; fast, moderate and slow tempo music combined with cardio and strength training to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Dance to Fitness is for everyone, regardless of your age or size.

All exercisers from beginner to advanced will enjoy the benefits of the Dance to Fitness™ class, including stress relief, improved cardiovascular health, improvement in muscle tone, increased energy and (everyone’s favorite, weight loss. They will burn anywhere from 300-800 calories per hour depending on the intensity at which it is performed.

Choreography modifications are offered throughout the class to ensure that each participant get an effective workout.

A typical Dance to Fitness™ class is an hour long, but can be modified depending on the fitness level of the participants. The following is a model of what the Dance to Fitness™ classes would offer:

1. Sign In (5-10 min. before class starts) 2. Welcome/Intro (1 min.) 3. Group Prayer/ Health Declarations (5 min.) 4. Warm-up (5-7 min.) 5. cardio interval training--the bulk of the class (40 min.) 6. Cool down (5-10 min.)

 In summary, here’s what to expect during the 8 week Dance to Fitness™ Program:

** A Fun, Exciting, Energetic Time in a Positive Friendly Atmosphere.
** Burn Lot of Calories, Lose Weight and Have Fun, all at the same time.
** Work out to Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, Cumbia, African, Hip Hop, Reggae and Contemporary Christian Music. ** High Intensity Interval Training and Cardio Kick Boxing
** Accountability Partner to help participants stay on track and keep you motivated and committed.

This will also be an opportunity for you to review your health and fitness goals for 2018 and receive the support you need through our fitness programs.

Proceeds from the event goes to our Fitness for Africa Project. Fitness For Africa is one of It’s Time Fitness Community Initiatives. It’s our own way of giving back to our motherland and a project to spread the message of health, fitness and wellness in Africa.

Therefore, we hope to raise funds through charitable donations and sales from our branded It’s Time Fitness merchandise (T-shirts, DVD and wristbands) during this Dance to Fitness Party to support this project.

What to bring: A bottle of water, a face towel and an exercise mat or large towel

What to wear: Comfortable workout clothing and 
supportive shoes (tennis shoes) are recommended

When to arrive: Arrive 15 mins before class begins for registration i.e. 9:30 AM

Be ready to dance with us and have fun while you workout to a variety of inspirational music that would really move you Spirit, Soul and Body.

We all can enjoy the benefits of good health and fitness i.e. long life, absence of sickness and diseases, happiness, more energy, weight control and the list goes on.
